More than one in seven people in Cambodia live in poverty, surviving on less than $2.15 a day. They are stuck in subsistence living, with no way to break the cycle of poverty.

Through sustainable development, Light of Hope volunteers have had a clear impact in the areas of child protection, education, housing, medical care, sanitation, clean water, livelihood training and opportunities --- with each one making a real difference. What can I do there?
Every single person willing to join a team has something to offer, whether they are young or old. We tailor our service projects to the abilities, skills, talents and qualifications of each team. Your tool may be a hammer, a paint brush, a stethoscope or a guitar, but each contribution is valuable. Tell us your passion and we will show you how it can be used for others.
